Working with the Goddess

When working with the Goddess, I can feel the initial force that drives all life and creation flowing through me. It is the Earth itself, unleashing its power. Each time I touch the ground and open myself for the plants and all of nature’s spirits around me, I feel the Goddess. Reminding me that she is as well inside of me and that I am a part of nature, as every living thing on this planet, gives me the strength and courage that are the foundation of any magickal work.

Of course you do not have to be in a beautiful forest to do magick, but you do need to be connected, to feel one with Nature, if you seek to have magick with you. And I encourage You to connect with your roots of the earth too and find your own power.

The goddess Macha is by many referred to as goddess of sex and war, but I don’t see this as necessarily being true. For me she is the goddess of sovereignty, the power of standing in your own right. It is the rising power of the earth, connecting root and heart, that is essential to Her.
