Macha’s Cave
is -literally- the home of the irish goddess Macha, who is also one of the three aspects of the Morrigan.
As the Queen of Fae, she can help you get insight through communication with the faerie realm. Her domain is strategical war, but also peace if needed. She stands for female power and empowerment, justice in that regard and sovereignty.
Macha is a goddess not to be tempered with – she owns mastery in the power of cursing. If you seek her guidance, be clear about your intent. However, if you feel called to her, don’t be afraid to take on your position. Step up with courage and a true heart, and you might find your deepest self inside the womb of our Great Mother.

Lady Lenora –
Priestess of Macha and the witch operating Macha’s Cave.
Born as an old soul, I started very early ahead of my age on the wiccan path. Now, after 20 years of experience as a solitary witch on a nature-oriented path, I have worked with various more and less traditional elements of witchcraft as well as different deities.
As witch of native central european heritage, I seek to revive the traditions of my far ancestors, who have never moved from this sacred birth place of ancient european and celtic culture. I feel nourished by the once wide forests of the Danube dale, and the waters of Danu, the mother goddess of the Tuatha de Danann, flow within my blood. Since today all europeans have mixed heritage, you will find different influences and many correspondences throughout my work, like Greek and old Germanic, yet my strongest connection is rooted in natural Druidic witchcraft. Forming my own way to approach this issue of modern spiritual search and re-connection with our natural roots, I brought to life Macha’s Cave, the mound of the Great Queen, open for all those who are willing to see.
“Speak friend, and enter.”
Another thing I want to address…
As you, the reader, wherever you are, have surely noticed, this is a site about European witchcraft, or to say better, of an ‘european’ path. This does not say by any means, that I don’t honor All other paths. I am aware that discrimination is, sadly, often still the case also throughout spiritual communities. I have great respect for everyone who knows how to use their tools well. I love to support other traditions and encourage you to look beyond your own nose.
Whatever your gender, sexual orientation or skin colour, this does not matter to me. Whatever your practices are, as long as your intentions are honorable, it is all good. Only (here’s the warning!) if you are looking for magick to act against the will of others without any justification, then this is the wrong place. If your intentions are not honorable, I’m not working with you. Otherwise, if you are a like-minded soul, welcome & Merry Meet!
PS. If you are not familiar with witchcraft, please don’t use the term “witch” or “witchcraft” in any (bad) sense, until you know what it really is! Thank you 😉
